Brittany has been working with children with autism since 2005. Growing up with a sister with Down syndrome and autism, Brittany was inspired to work with not only her sister but other children with special needs.
From 2005- 2012 she volunteered with the Northern Nevada RAVE (Respite And Volunteer Experiences) Family Foundation providing respite to families caring for children with special needs as well as foster children.
In 2008, Brittany began working as a behavior interventionist in Reno Nevada under the supervision of the Lovaas Center. Brittany received her Certified Autism Behavior Interventionist (CABI) certification while working in Reno. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013 with a major in psychology and a minor in alcohol and substance abuse treatment.
Brittany moved to Las Vegas in 2013 where she continued to work as an interventionist for The Lovaas Center. In 2014, she was promoted to a consultant role. Brittany completed coursework through Florida Institute of Technology and received her board certification as an assistant behavior analyst (BCaBA) in 2016.
She is passionate about achieving the best quality of life for all of the children she works with and plans to continue her education with a goal of completing a master’s degree and achieving the next level of certification, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
