Ernestine is a native of Las Vegas. She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Special Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She worked in the Clark County School District as a Special Education Teacher and as a Care Manager with Nevada’s Autism Treatment Assistance Program (ATAP) before joining The Lovaas Center. She is recognized nationally as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Nevada. She has always had a passion for teaching children and becoming a BCBA was another outlet for her to continue that dedication.
