Lenise Kryk has worked extensively with individuals with Autism, providing intervention, supervision, parent education, and staff training for over 12 years in various locations within the United States. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and also holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Applied Behavioral Analysis.
Lenise has been an SPTA (Specialized Program Teacher Assistant) for the Clark County School District where she gained experience on modifying curriculum and supporting inclusion within an elementary school setting. Lenise is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as well as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of Nevada (LBA).
Throughout the last few years, she has had the pleasure of supervising numerous individuals across the United States that are working towards their certifications in order to help them to further their experience and knowledge in the field of Behavior Analysis. In January 2011, Lenise opened the South Florida office for The Lovaas Center and currently is the Site Director for this location. As the director, Lenise coordinates and participates in trainings for parents and therapists as well as presentations at local colleges and universities to increase collaboration within the community.
Lenise has training and experience in specialized ABA techniques including Discrete Trial Training, Picture Exchange Communication System, and Positive Behavior Support. In addition, Lenise has received a basic training certificate in Floortime as well as being certified as a Safety-Care trainer through QBS, Inc., which provides crisis management training. Lenise is also a member of CalABA, NABA and FABA.
